The Manual Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Olympia Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Thursday just wasn't the day for Manual's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 7-0 walloping at the hands of Peoria on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Manual has lost by exactly seven goals.
Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Olympia made sure to put some goals up on the board against Meridian/Sangamon Valley on Friday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering Olympia's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
This is the second loss in a row for Manual and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Olympia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
