Basketball Game Preview: West Hall Spartans vs. Cherokee Bluff Bears

West Hall is 0-8 against Cherokee Bluff since December of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The West Hall Spartans will host the Cherokee Bluff Bears at 6:00 p.m.

On Friday, West Hall had to suffer through a 81-21 loss at the hands of Jefferson. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 469th, while the Dragons are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cherokee Bluff). They claimed a resounding 78-38 victory over Monroe Area. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Cherokee Bluff is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for West Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
