Softball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Notre Dame De Sion

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summit Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Notre Dame de Sion Storm on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Storm, too.

Mallory Stahl and Lilly Cosentino did most of the damage at the plate: Stahl went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Cosentino got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Stahl has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Steffes, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
