Basketball Recap: Hannah Miano's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eagle Valley over Coal Ridge + How To Watch

Eagle Valley kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coal Ridge Titans. The Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Eagle Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hannah Miano, who shot 83% from the field en route to 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Ella Webster was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Eagle Valley has already played their next contest, a 44-22 win against Weld Central on the 5th. As for Coal Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-29 defeat against Montrose on the 5th.
