Football Game Preview: Davison Cardinals vs. Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers + Official Tickets

Davison has gone 8-1 against Carman-Ainsworth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Davison is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Davison is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing East Lansing: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cardinals blew the Trojans out of the water with a 57-14 final score. It was another big night for Jaxson Dosh, who rushed for 88 yards and two scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyanthony Lewis, who gained 72 total yards and three touchdowns.

Davison's run defense was locked in: East Lansing could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. While two picked up at least five total tackles, Lewis stood above the rest. He rushed for 57 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries, and also caught one score. Davison didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.2.

Meanwhile, Carman-Ainsworth took a blow against Heritage on Friday, falling 49-14. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Carman-Ainsworth's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Davison, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Davison against Carman-Ainsworth in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 63-6 victory. In that game, the Cardinals amassed a halftime lead of 42-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
