First Colonial's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Norview as First Colonial made off with a 12-0 win. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Myla Viloria was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Viloria was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Aimee Ord was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Tori Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
First Colonial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne came up short against Ocean Lakes on Thursday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Dolphins: they've now lost three in a row.
J Ramsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
First Colonial's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Princess Anne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. First Colonial has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Princess Anne struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
First Colonial took their win against Princess Anne in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1. Does First Colonial have another victory up their sleeve, or will Princess Anne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
