Baseball Game Preview: Canton South Wildcats vs. Northwest Indians

For the second straight game, Canton South will face off against Northwest. The Wildcats will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton South comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Canton South's offense. They came up short against Northwest on Monday, falling 7-0.

For Northwest's part, not much got past Aidan Robinson, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Canton South off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sean Ritchey, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Kraft, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Canton South's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northwest, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
