Volleyball Recap: Wesleyan Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games + How To Watch

Wesleyan won the last time they faced Elite Scholars Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Royal Knights by a score of 2-0.

Emma Jane Gillis paced Wesleyan's offense, picking up nine kills. Gillis got some help from Brenna Merchant and her 16 assists. Hollyn Daum controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wesleyan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Elite Scholars Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Coming up, Wesleyan will square off against Mount Paran Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elite Scholars Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on the 11th.
