Volleyball Recap: Pine Eagle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Pine Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Union, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Eagle will square off against Prairie City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Union, they will take on Joseph in a tournament on Friday.
