Football Recap: Proviso East Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Proviso East's offense. They took a 14-0 bruising from the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs on Saturday. The Pirates have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Proviso East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Proviso East will head out to take on Leyden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, they will venture away from home to face off against Addison Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blazers' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Mustangs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
