Basketball Recap: Marlboro Academy Falls to Christian Academy in First Game of Season

Marlboro Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Christian Academy Saints, falling 64-38. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Dragons struggled afterwards.

Ayden Leith was a one-man wrecking crew For Christian Academy. as he went 10-for-16 en route to 29 points in addition to eight assists and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Leith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Hall, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Marlboro Academy has already played their next contest (against Christ the Cornerstone Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Christian Academy, they will square off against Southeastern Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
