Basketball Recap: Crane Comes Up Short

Crane saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 56-46 to the Valley Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Cranes have lost by exactly ten points.

Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Corbin Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. The contest was Taylor's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kanyon Taylor, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 21 points and four blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Crane and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Valley, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Crane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-46 win against Westbrook on the 14th. As for Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-35 victory against Garden City on the 13th.
