Volleyball Recap: Frankfort's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Frankfort had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bear Lake Lakers by a score of 2-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Frankfort never let Bear Lake on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15.

Neysa Hodge paced Frankfort's offense, picking up five kills. Hodge got some help from Alice Luther and her seven assists. Luther was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Frankfort's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bear Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Frankfort and Bear Lake will both be playing Mesick the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lakers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
