Football Recap: Braswell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Braswell's offense. They were beaten by the Lewisville Farmers 46-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Farmers are ranked 11th).

Kemarion Thompson threw for 26 yards on six of nine attempts. On the ground, Kayden Jones rushed for 45 yards.

Traejan Mueller was a one-man wrecking crew For Lewisville. as he picked up 97 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Mueller a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Braswell's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lewisville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Braswell has already played their next contest, a 42-21 loss against Marcus on the 10th. As for Lewisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 49-7 win against Flower Mound on the 10th.
