Volleyball Recap: Godwin Comes Up Short

Godwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patrick Henry Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Godwin's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Patrick Henry, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Godwin will host Glen Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Patrick Henry, they will take on Varina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
