The Ketchum Warriors will head out to challenge the Summit Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ketchum is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Woodland on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Warriors had to suffer through a 44-16 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

The losing side was boosted by Keegan Johnston, who rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 50 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Summit Christian Academy took on Fairland on Thursday. The Eagles were outmatched by the Owls and fell 67-6. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Owls: they've now lost three in a row.

Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ketchum, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Ketchum against Summit Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
