Basketball Game Preview: Murphysboro Red Devils vs. Steeleville Warriors

The Murphysboro Red Devils will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Steeleville Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Murphysboro is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. The game between the Red Devils and Johnston City didn't end well, with the Red Devils falling 45-27.

Meanwhile, Steeleville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 46-42 to Maryville Christian on Tuesday.

Everything came up roses for Murphysboro against Steeleville in their previous meeting back in November of 2015, as the team secured a 62-25 victory. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
