Basketball Recap: Sullivan Comes Up Short

Sullivan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the North County Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Raiders are ranked 105th).

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for North County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Sullivan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-41 defeat against Hermann on the 3rd. North County has also already played their next game, a 58-51 win against Scotland County on the 3rd.
