Kankakee Valley won the last time they faced Hobart, and Gavin Joy did his part to make sure it happened again. The Kankakee Valley Kougars secured a 64-58 W over the Hobart Brickies on Thursday thanks in part to Joy, who went 9 for 13 to rack up 22 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Kankakee Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Hobart, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Kankakee Valley has already played their next game, a 70-51 defeat against La Porte on the 8th. As for Hobart, they will welcome Valparaiso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valparaiso will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hobart surely won't give up without a fight.
