Softball Recap: Meridian Hawks vs. Charleston Trojans
Meridian had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Charleston Trojans.

Julia Meisenhelter was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Morgan Knierim was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Coming up, Meridian will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Clifton Central at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Charleston, they will take on St. Anthony in a tournament on Saturday.
