Basketball Game Preview: North Marion Colts vs. Belleview Rattlers

North Marion and Belleview are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The North Marion Colts will square off against the Belleview Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

North Marion's tournament run continued when they took on Belleview on Thursday. North Marion came up short against Belleview, falling 62-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Colts have suffered against the Rattlers since February 1, 2017.

North Marion better keep an eye on Cami Satterfield. She was instrumental in Belleview's win, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Satterfield has scored at least a third of Belleview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Briyanna Miles, who posted 15 points along with five assists and three steals.

Belleview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.

This is the second loss in a row for North Marion and nudges their season record down to 11-11. As for Belleview, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.
