Volleyball Game Preview: Killian Cougars vs. Central Rockets

After both having extra time off, the Killian Cougars and the Central Rockets will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Killian lost 3-0 to MAST Academy on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Makos recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-10.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Booker T. Washington on Wednesday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-14.

Killian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Killian took their victory against Central in their previous matchup back in September of 2019 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
