Volleyball Recap: Southwest Christian Takes a Loss

If Southwest Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Country Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Damascus Christian Eagles on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Southwest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Damascus Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Christian will host Open Door Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Damascus Christian, they will take on North Douglas in a tournament on Saturday.
