Basketball Recap: Norwayne Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Norwayne's strategy against Berkshire on Saturday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 59-33 margin over the Badgers. The Bobcats' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norwayne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hannah Froelich, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 16 rebounds. Froelich is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ava Maibach was another key player, shooting 47% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Norwayne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.

Norwayne's record is now 3-0. As for Berkshire, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
