Wayne Christian is 6-1 against Epiphany since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Last Tuesday, Wayne Christian took a blow against Greenfield, falling 83-22. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Knights are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, Epiphany had to suffer through a 75-31 loss at the hands of Wayne Country Day. The Falcons have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Wayne Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Epiphany, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Wayne Christian came up short against Epiphany in their previous meeting on Monday, falling 58-52. Can Wayne Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
