Volleyball Game Preview: Notre Dame Bulldogs vs. Leopold Wildcats

Notre Dame has gone 8-2 against Leopold recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Notre Dame earned a 3-1 victory over West Plains.

The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Notre Dame can attribute much of their success to Carlie Shamoun, who had 16 digs. That's the most digs Shamoun has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Leopold waltzed into their match on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win.

Leopold walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.

Leopold's win bumped their record up to 18-1-2. As for Notre Dame, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.
