Riverdale Ridge extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They had just enough and edged out the Broomfield Eagles 16-13. Those 16 points were actually the fewest the Ravens have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Roman Garcia went supernova, picking up 101 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 101 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Jeter McArthur also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.

As for Broomfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-2 record. They were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the three contests prior), but Riverdale Ridge's defense proved too tough.

Broomfield's loss came despite strong showings from Kashus Clarvoe and Slater Saunders. Clarvoe rushed for 169 yards and two TDs, while Saunders rushed for 88 yards on only six carries.
