Football Game Preview: Atlanta Huskies vs. Au Gres-Sims Wolverines

Atlanta is 1-8 against Au Gres-Sims since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to square off against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Atlanta came up short against Hillman and fell 46-34.

Meanwhile, Au Gres-Sims had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three last Friday. They blew past the Cardinals 60-36. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Au Gres-Sims' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Atlanta, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Atlanta took a serious blow against Au Gres-Sims in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 74-28. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
