Basketball Recap: Woodland Christian Takes a Loss

Woodland Christian kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 55-34 to the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos.

Despite the loss, Woodland Christian still got an impressive performance from Malakai Baker, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 18 points. Baker has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 34 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Rainwater, who posted seven points.

The victory keeps Twelve Bridges at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Woodland Christian will head out on the road to square off against Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twelve Bridges, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
