Troup County are taking a road trip to take on Harris County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harris County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Troup County, who comes in off a win.

While Tigers fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They strolled past Shaw with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 88-71.

Vakeil Garretthammett was the offensive standout of the matchup as he posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavyn Gates, who earned 15 points.

Meanwhile, Harris County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Bremen, falling 73-51. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Troup County strolled past Harris County in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 64-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Troup County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
