Softball Recap: Pittsfield Comes Up Short

Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Cecilia Centeno made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Spratling, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Pittsfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

As of now, neither Pittsfield nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
