Softball Recap: Garrett Memorial Christian Comes Up Short

Garrett Memorial Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the Ouachita Warriors.

Garrett Memorial Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brailyn Almand, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Garrett Memorial Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Ouachita, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garrett Memorial Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 3:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for Ouachita, they will face off against Jessieville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
