Stevens scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alexander Bulldogs. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alyssia Murphy, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andra Stokes, who posted 16 points.

Stevens has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Alexander, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Stevens has already played their next matchup, a 66-51 defeat against Navarro on the 20th. As for Alexander, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-48 victory against Jourdanton on the 20th.
