Basketball Game Preview: Titusville Terriers vs. Satellite Scorpions

The Titusville Terriers will square off against the Satellite Scorpions on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Titusville took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 65-28 victory over Space Coast. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-11.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Satellite sidestepped Eau Gallie for a 49-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scorpions.

Titusville's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Satellite, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Titusville came up short against Satellite in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 55-45. Can Titusville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
