Basketball Recap: Jewish Community Comes Up Short

Jewish Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Drew Dragons, falling 62-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-45 on January 9th.

Drew's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kian Chan, who posted 16 points and three steals. Rafa Ledesma was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Jewish Community's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Drew, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Jewish Community will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against International at 5:30 p.m. As for Drew, they will head out on the road to square off against Pinewood at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
