Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Bosque Bobcats

The Valley Vikings won the last time they faced the Bosque Bobcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Valley took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 76-31 win over Bosque. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Valley has managed all season.

Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sayed Hashimi, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hashimi has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Miscles-Rivera, who scored 11 points.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bosque, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-2.

Valley will stay at home for another game and welcome La Cueva at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (La Cueva is ranked 33rd, while Valley is ranked 14th). Bosque will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Native American Community Academy at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th.
