Volleyball Recap: Wilson Hall Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wilson Hall couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 2-0 to Palmetto Christian Academy on Saturday. The Barons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Palmetto Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

McKinley Bath paced Wilson Hall's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bath got some help from Natalie Hawkey and her 16 assists. Hawkey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wilson Hall's loss dropped their record down to 28-11. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8-2 record this season.

Wilson Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ben Lippen on the 25th.
