Baseball Recap: Ozaukee Comes Up Short

Ozaukee lost to St. Mary Catholic back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 10-5 to the Zephyrs. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly five runs.

Mason Schroeder and Colter Zimdars stepped up to the plate in a big way. Schroeder went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Zimdars got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Dane Zimdars was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Ozaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Mary Catholic, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Ozaukee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kohler at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for St. Mary Catholic, they will face off against Little Chute at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
