Volleyball Game Preview: Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors vs. Lincoln Lions + How To Watch

Yerba Buena is 2-7 against Lincoln since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Aztec Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m.

Yerba Buena lost 3-0 to Pioneer on Thursday.

While Yerba Buena was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pioneer's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Lincoln posted their closest win since September 6th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Gilroy 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lincoln who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 25-17, 18-25, 15-10.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Yerba Buena, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
