Elberta won the last time they faced Theodore and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 10-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

The team relied heavily on Layton Willis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Mackenzie Santose also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Elberta was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Theodore only posted a batting average of .200.

Elberta's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Theodore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Elberta will head out to square off against McGill-Toolen at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Theodore, they will venture away from home to take on Baldwin County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
