After a string of three wins, Olympic's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Kingston Buccaneers, falling 9-2. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buccaneers earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Kingston, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Olympic will take on Klahowya at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingston, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Port Angeles at 4:15 p.m. The Roughriders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight.
