Volleyball Recap: Samantha Harvey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Seneca over North East

If Seneca was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Girard on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the North East Grape Pickers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

Seneca lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Samantha Harvey, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Seneca has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-3 record this season. As for North East, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1.

Seneca has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Northwestern on the 23rd. As for North East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Fort LeBoeuf on the 22nd.
