Basketball Recap: A.L. Brown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

A.L. Brown played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Concord Spiders and fell 51-21. The Wonders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-11.

Concord was led to victory by Jayden Beyan and Jabari Byrd. Beyan went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points and five boards, while Byrd shot 83% from the field on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. Byrd also grabbed two steals, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Taheer Jackson, who posted five points and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, A.L. Brown fell to 2-1. As for Concord, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A.L. Brown will square off against Salisbury at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Concord, they will take on Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spiders will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
