Homewood-Flossmoor has gone a perfect 4-0 against Joliet Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will host the Steelmen at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Homewood-Flossmoor was able to grind out a solid victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

While Homewood-Flossmoor won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Joliet Central had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Kankakee by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Joliet Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-11. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Homewood-Flossmoor was able to grind out a solid win over Joliet Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Steelmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
