Baseball Game Preview: Dunham Tigers vs. St. Amant Gators

The Dunham Tigers will head out to challenge the St. Amant Gators at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dunham is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Dunham is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since February 24, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Brother Martin by a score of 4-2.

Dunham saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Lim, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, Lim posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, St. Amant was able to grind out a solid win over Archbishop Shaw on Friday, taking the game 7-3. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

St. Amant's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Dunham, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Dunham was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Amant in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 7-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunham since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
