Basketball Recap: Archbold Takes a Loss

Archbold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Swanton Bulldogs. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Archbold's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Swanton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.

Archbold will square off against Tinora at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tinora will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Archbold surely won't give up without a fight. Swanton has already played their next matchup (against Bryan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
