Basketball Recap: Memorial Day Finds Home Court Redemption Against Bible Baptist Christian + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Memorial Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They secured a 42-37 W over the Bible Baptist Christian Wolves on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Matadors: when they faced off against the Wolves on Thursday, they had to take a 70-60 defeat.

Memorial Day found their leader in freshman Cedrick Brown, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Lake Mills, who scored seven points.

Despite the loss, Bible Baptist Christian still got an impressive performance from Jaquayvion Gilmore, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Ranew, who had six points and three steals.

Memorial Day's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bible Baptist Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Memorial Day will challenge Savannah Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will take on Patrick Henry Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
