Basketball Recap: James Valley Christian Wins Going Away Against Sunshine Bible Academy

James Valley Christian won the last time they faced Sunshine Bible Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The James Valley Christian Vikings strolled past the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 63-44.

Despite the loss, Sunshine Bible Academy still got an impressive performance from Trey Thieman, who went 7 for 15 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. Thieman also put up a block, which washis first of the season. Jerome Big Eagle was another key player, putting up four points and six boards.

The victory got James Valley Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Valley Christian will host Highmore/Harrold at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. One thing working in James Valley Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Sunshine Bible Academy has already played their next game (against Colome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
