The 28-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Independence pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for Summers County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
