Soccer Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Blanchester Wildcats, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Georgetown were already down 3-0.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Blanchester, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Georgetown will be playing at home against Fayetteville-Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blanchester, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bethel-Tate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
